Nenana City School's Mite project

2017-05-05:

N482M, s/n 236 has been hanging in pieces from hangar rafters in Wasilla, AK for over 30 years. Paul Carattini, a teacher at Nenana City School in Nenana, Alaska, located the Mite in Wasilla, AK for a restoration project, part of the School's aviation program. Paul purchased the Mite from the previous owner, Tim Veenstra, who had done a good job of preserving the Mite.

Last February, Paul and a team of students subsequently transported N482M in a school bus a distance of 260 miles to Nenana. The adventure was written up in the AOPA newsletter. Now, as promised, here are some more photos sent to us by Paul this week.
