"I am pushing to finish N491M in time for Lompoc. I am not an A&P and have always worked under an IA. My current IA is pushing me to work for my A&P. Today I finish painting the wings and hopefully tomorrow the wings will go on. 
"David Bray, the previous owner is an A&P and was an IA many years ago. He purchased this airplane about six years ago and took it apart to refurbish it. We worked on repainting it and then got busy with other things and the project went dormant. About three years ago he decided to get rid of some of his projects and just fly his RV 8. He had planned on putting in a new panel and had purchased most of the instruments still in the box when I acquired the project."
