N4096 and the new Boeing 787

I took these two pictures this afternoon in Victorville, CA.

Boeing has sent 787 test aircraft #2 to KVCV to take advantage of its 15,000-foot runway and good weather. As you might imagine, 15,000 ft is adequate for getting a Mite down!

Anyway, I thought it was fun to take a picture of Boeing's newest airplane from Mooney's oldest. You can just see N4096's wing in the lower left corner of the picture of the 787. The other picture is by the FBO, with some of the "boneyard" in the background.
