Tom Wade's Mooney Mites

This is probably the only photo we will ever see of N337M, Serial Number 101. Tom Wade of Mt. Orab, Ohio owned this plane from 1959 to 1963. Subsequently, it was owned by Robert Addleman of Indianapolis in 1964, Gerald M. Young of Viola, IL in 1969, and Gordon Pugh of Cambridgeport, VT in 1994, who re-registered it as N6GP. Gordon lost possession of the Mite due to a misadventure, the details of which are obscure. It was apparently sold to a G. Presley and disappeared.

This is a 1/4 scale radio control model Tom built. It has a Gemini 160 twin engine in it. Tom says it flies a lot like the real Mite, only the stall is more gentle.
