Lyn Augustin joins the Mite Community
Lyn is a five-year captain for Scenic Airlines, the world's largest aerial tour company, flying Twin Otters between North Las Vegas and Grand Canyon National Park Airport.
Lyn sums up his career so far by saying he
has logged 1,500
hours as a flight instructor, 5,000 as a pilot,
14,000 flight hours
as a flight attendant, and 1,600 nights in a
hotel!
Lyn has been a flight attendant for Northwest Airlines, the Rolling Stones, the Minnesota Vikings, and the NBA and NHL. He also flew a Super Cub seven summers for the North Dakota Game and Fish counting American Pronghorns.
Prior to becoming a proud Mite owner, he’s had a Cessna 140 and the Piper Pawnee.
Lyn is presently working on his Masters in Aeronautics at Nellis Airforce Base. He lives in Las Vegas, NV, but goes home to North Dakota, where his Mite is based, to cool off once a month.
