New Mite owner Scott Lewis recently had some work done on the engine and instrument panel and the airplane is flying again. These photos show Scott landing his Mite at Santa Monica airport. Notice the towers of Century City and Beverly Hills in the background. [Click to enlarge]

Here are some newer photos showing the above mentioned battery installation, along with Scott's comments:

"Attached are a few pix of the battery installation and panel. Due to the Aux tank, the battery needed to be further aft. To make charging easier, a charging station was brought forward to just behind the seat. On the panel, an Avionics master switch and circuit breakers were installed for the Radio and Transponder."
