Dear Mooney Mite owner or wanta-have,

September 12-13, 2008 the Tulsa EAA Chapter will host their Annual Fly-In at Bartlesville,OK (BVO). We hope you will be able to attend. We are inviting all known Mooney Mite enthusiasts to attend and if enough interest is found, a tent forum will be held. This will not be a highly technical gathering, but a gathering of  Mite enthusiasts to discuss flying, maintaining and promoting Mooney Mites.

It is hoped that a gathering of Mite people will result in more participation in this and other fly-ins. Please let me know if you will attend, and especially if you want to attend a Mooney Mite Tent forum.

Bartlesville is a great place for a Fly-In. This city is the home of Phillips Petroleum Company. Phillips has long been a supporter of aviation at all levels. At the Fly-In will be antiques, classics, contempories, war birds, homebuilts and light sport aircraft. Each year a Special Honored Guest is recognized (e.g. Tex Hill and others). As you are probably aware, this fly-in has been featured in Flying Magazine.

Please let me know if you are considering attending. I especially would like to know if you are interested in a Tent Forum. Many type clubs will be represented, including  Piper, Swift, etc. We are hoping this gathering will increase interest in the Mooney Mite everywhere.
