Santa's Mooney Mite

Several years ago we reported that Santa had acquired a Mooney Mite, having become unhappy with the performance of his old sleigh. Subsequently, the Big Elf installed a VM-1000 engine management system, EFIS, and other goodies to make navigation during the Big Night much easier. This rare photo, taken with great difficulty by our correspondent in southern California, catches Santa test-flying over the desert. As you can see, the Mite can now cope easily with miserable weather conditions!
