Friday night we had BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings. The whole gang was there as usual. Always a warm and friendly atmosphere at the hangar. Lots of conversation and laughs.

Breakfast on Saturday morning at the Cajun Kitchen near the airport.

Dinner on Saturday at a local Chinese restaurant, buffet style.

Breakfast on Sunday morning at the Budget Cafe.

Weather was warm and clear with a nice breeze each day to keep things pleasant. No fog at all this time.

Report from Doug Triplat:

"The flight over (from Rosamond, CA in the Beechcraft) was 113 NM (42 minutes) and I landed Lompoc about 9:45 Friday morning. Ed then drove up and a few locals came by. Scott then landed with his Mite. David then Michael Harms with his wife, Karen appeared. Friday we all had a Bar-B-Que at the big hangar with lots of food and locals as they do every Friday nite. Must have been about 25 total people that enjoyed the food and fun.

"Saturday morning @ 8:30 we all met at the hangar including Craig Ortet and wife from San Jose. Seven of us headed out for breakfast. Upon returning from breakfast Cliff Tatum had just landed with his Mite. Scott left about 10:30 to beat the TFR at LAX which shuts down VFR airspace travel in the entire LA basin (President Obama was in town). The total people that came from out of the area to see Mites and people who love Mites was only 7 plus Ed. The rest are locals. Maybe a few more people came after I left or on Sunday. I flew home about 5 PM Saturday."
