Mite Enthusiasts at Concrete, WA Fly-in, July 2007

On Saturday, July 28th, David, his
younger son Erik, and I made the 1-1/2 hour drive from Abbotsford, BC down to
Concrete in northern Washington State. Gil Gilbert drove up from his home in
Kent, WA to meet us. Aside from the fact that there are now four Mites at
Concrete, the town puts on an entertaining fly-in every summer. We enjoyed the
casual hospitality of Harold Hanson and his wife Gerry, and Jim Jenkins and his
son, Drew. It was very pleasant to chat with friends and stroll past the wide
selection of local and visiting airplanes on display. [Click on these photos to

N4095, N4118, might be called the custodian of Harold's airplanes.You can see in
these photos that he has been working to bring N4103 up to the standards of the
