Concrete Mooney Mite Fly-In
Venue: | Concrete, Washington |
Date: | August 15 - 16 - 17, 2003 |

"Concrete is tucked into the Skagit River
Valley east of Burlington and Sedro Woolley in northwest Washington. Go
straight up Interstate 5, then head 20 miles east on Route 20. It's one
of the most beautiful places I've flown around.
"The top photo shows Baker Lake, below
10,000-foot Mt. Baker. The bottom one is of the airport and
surroundings. "The area offers a great place for unrestricted flying and photo sessions. From Concrete, it's a couple of hours by auto into the Cascades. The possibilities are endless. Of course there's hangar site seeing and just a comfortable laid back atmosphere." |
